Large amounts of international success for the Central Committee

Written by Al Jazeera

As the Central Committee of the Communist Party reconvened this Saturday morning, they were met with the news that their international presence has increased tremendously,  furthering their efforts in establishing the Soviet Union as a world power. However, this comes with the cost of provoking the American government, as well as continuing to seemingly ignore the array of domestic issues at hand.

Currently, the Soviet Union has expanded its communist influence to several countries including Cuba and additionally establishing trade relations with countries in Asia, therefore increasing their access to the global market.

Despite their focus on global affairs, members of the committee have come up with ways to utilize these newfound alliances and subsequent resources to fix the pressing domestic issues facing the Soviet Union, such as the long-standing famine and housing crisis.

Solutions resolving the issue of low food protection include increasing rice trade with China in exchange for increased military, while simultaneously encouraging the peasantry to increase food production within the domestic sphere.

However, as member Demyan Korotchenko stated, “War with the US would be disastrous”. Because several of these newly established ties have some level of relation with America and may potentially provoke them, members of the committee are warning their colleagues to proceed with caution in order to prevent a physical war.

Members such as Amin Niyazov have taken this into account, however. In a proposed solution, he mentioned that due to the committee’s significant amount of success within the international military realm, “We need to move our navy closer and closer to our new ally Cuba [...] They can open ports near America.” as an effort to signal their power as a deterrent.

While the committee still has several issues at hand to address, particularly within its domestic realm, their international success is a signal that they have been able to effectively work together to further the Soviet’s power, rather than letting the nation fall into disarray after Stalin’s death. However, they have a nation of angry and starving people to handle.

Don't blame the gods

Don't blame the gods

Written by NHK World

Outcry from the Newenenef, High Priest of Amun, rose from the claims of Tija, Chief of the Treasury, that the gods were to blame for their struggles of their food supply. Newenenef was backed by Prince Ramesses and Sise the elder in the Committee for The Reign of Ramesses II: evolution and expansion.

For information on the events of this Committee we conducted an interview with Soko, we learned that the citizens of Ramesses thought they were supposed to have a good season harvest wise. This lead to people over eating and consequently a lack of sufficient food supply. When storages were checked it was discovered people on the inside had burned them down. The people moved to discuss the cause of these events; was it the gods anger, was it the new cult of death, many chimed in their opinion.

Newenenef declared their disappointment in outrage, that the gods were not getting the respect they deserve. He declared the gods “created us from nothing” and that the people owed everything to them. Newenenef believes that we are not giving enough praise to the gods, and that is the reason for their anger, and ultimately the shortage of food supply.

Siese the elder suggested that perhaps the “god of the grain [has] not [been] worshiped enough”, and that is why they burned down their supply stores. Prince Ramesses agreed heavily with both Newenenef and Siese.

Amenemope Viceroy of Numbia believes that the real focus should be on the Cult of death, who claim only one god, and demands the people track them down. He claims that when captured to use “torture if necessary” in order to properly punish their transgressions.

The plot continues to thicken as the council tries to discover those deceiving them, more to come on these stirring events with the continuation of the committee.

Pope Sixtus IV’s death rocks Italy

Pope Sixtus IV’s death rocks Italy

Written by CNBC, China Global Television Network

On the evening of April 5, 2019 Pope Sixtus IV was murdered. It is suspected that multiple parties had plotted to kill the Pope, and their various assassination attempts finally took their toll.

The Pope was first offered a poisoned painting which was said to have been commissioned by the Pope himself, however this assassination attempt was foiled when the official gallery curator for the Pope pointed out that all of the Sistine Chapel’s art is commissioned exclusively by Francisco de Borgia. The art was analyzed and the inspector, upon finding poisoned dust on the painting’s canvas, removed the painting and those delivering it from the premises.

Several minutes later, the Pope was offered a cup of poisoned wine, which he drank but seemingly survived.

Another several minutes later, the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel collapsed. The Pope miraculously survived this accident as well, after one of his followers pushed him out of the way, tackling him to the ground to keep him safe.

While the Pope was incapacitated due to the collapse of the ceiling, he was attacked by two assailants who repeatedly stabbed him and ultimately took his life.

The Pope’s sudden death leaves a lucrative gap for members of both the Medici and Borgia families. His position is now open for election, and both sides will attempt to wield their power to capture additional influence.

The Medici family currently holds six cardinal positions, while the Borgias hold ten. As the appointment of the new Pope is in progress, the yet excommunicated Medicis will continue to assert their unsteady power and seek to regain the upper hand. The Borgias are expected to do the same, and there may be future shifting of loyalties in the remainder of the Cardinal cabinet according to the persuasion or lack of persuasion from both sides.

The future of the Medici and Borgia families depends largely on this development. We will continue reporting on the effects of the Pope’s death and Italy’s future in his absence.

Inside Japan, Inc., the secret shadow government that brought Japan to global prominence

Inside Japan, Inc., the secret shadow government that brought Japan to global prominence

Written by CNN

Below is an unpublished account of Japan, Inc., a secret organization that acted as Advisory Board to the Japanese Prime Minister from the end of World War II until the turn of the century.

This organization, made up of high government officials and key business partners, has acted as a sort of shadow government, pulling strings throughout Japan to build the nation into prosperity and an economic powerhouse.

One of the main goals of Japan, Inc. is to gain economic independence from the West (specifically the United States), but also maintain strong relations with the US as an economic equal. Japan, Inc. believed that in 1990, Japan was a sort of vassal state of the US, a designation that the organization believed it was critical to shed.

In 1990 in particular, Japan, Inc. dealt with a particularly nasty series of issues. First, an economic crisis forced a massive bailout of the entire financial sector. Then, a communist terrorist group called Maroon 5 (Editor's note: no known relation to the modern band which terrorized American ears during the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime show) has blockaded an entire town. Finally, rival feminist groups have emerged and are bringing social issues to the forefront of Japanese discourse.

Today, we can look back at Japan, Inc. and wonder what the country would be like without such strong, yet secret leadership guiding them through the challenged associated with becoming a world power.
