Danielle Rommerdahl,

Danielle Rommerdahl is a third-year Psychobiology and Political Science double major from Huntington Beach, California. Model United Nations has been a part of her life since freshman year of high school, when she started competing on the Southern California circuit. Since then, Danielle has competed in over 25 conferences and currently competes with the UCLA travel team. This year, she is looking forward to being the Secretary-General of BruinMUN, a conference she attended twice herself in high school. Having had a passion for medicine all of her life, Danielle hopes to pursue a career in the medical field once she graduates. Outside of MUN, Danielle volunteers at the Mattel Children’s Hospital and is working to become an EMT. When free, she loves to take naps, travel to new places, and spend time with her friends.

Lauren Beebe,
Under-Secretary General for Crisis

Lauren Beebe is a third-year Mathematics major from Huntington Beach, California. She has competed in Model UN since high school, and has staffed every BruinMUN and LAMUN since she started as a student here at UCLA. In her (very limited) free time outside of Model UN and cramming for her math exams, Lauren tends to be training Muay Thai, working on her planner, or trying to get a decent amount of sleep. She is extremely passionate about everything to do with crisis and MUN, and can't wait to help make this year's BruinMUN an amazing experience for high school delegates!

David Cruse,

David is a fourth-year double majoring in Political Science and Philosophy. Before transferring to UCLA, David attended Irvine Valley College where he got his start in MUN. After graduating, David plans to work for a few years and then attend law school. In his free time, he enjoys eating and taking naps. Also, you will never catch him in a boring pair of socks.

Asim Khan,

Asim Khan is a second year Molecular Biology major hailing from the Bay Area. After a brief taste of Model UN wet his appetite in high school, Asim has been committed to MUN at UCLA ever since arriving on campus freshman year. Outside of Model UN, Asim enjoys conducting research, volunteering, and stopping along long walks to smell the Roses. He is also a huge supporter of the Golden State Warriors and the Oakland Raiders. Someday Asim hopes to become a doctor.

Alyssa Fong,

Alyssa is a second year student at UCLA pursuing a double major in political science and sociology. She has been an active participant in MUN since fall quarter of her freshman year, and is excited to continue her involvement as a BruinMUN USG this year. Outside of the club, she is a part of USAC, Mixed Student Union, and Phi Alpha Delta. Her favorite hobbies include thrift shopping, playing the oboe, calling her sisters, and making terrible puns. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in politics before attending law school.

Mitansh Shah, President

Mitansh is a senior at UCLA studying Computer Science Engineering and Public Policy. He is from New Jersey and then Mumbai, India. He has been involved with Model UN since high school and has been an active member of MUN at UCLA since his freshman year. Outside of MUN, when not searching the depths of Boelter Hall for a quiet place to code, Mitansh can be found traveling, looking for new food experiences, scavenging BBC for interesting news, or working on legislative advocacy issues. He loves Game of Thrones, playing a variety of sports, and following his beloved Bayern Munich soccer team. Memelord by day. Asleep by night.

Anusha Goyal,

Anusha Goyal is a third-year Geography major with a minor in Geographical Information Systems and Technologies from Dubai, U.A.E. and Punjab, India. She happened upon MUN in college and has been involved in it ever since. When she's not studying or making maps, Anusha can be found re-watching Friends, playing Catan or scrolling through Subtle Curry Traits. After graduating, she hopes to go to law school for International Law.

Aileen Nguyen is senior from Orange County. After accidently participated in a conference her junior year of high school, she has been in a part of MUN ever since. She is excited to be this year’s internal director and hopes to find new ways to improve outreach. Outside of MUN, Aileen enjoys being a part of her sorority, the Daily Bruin, UCLA Homecoming and various other campus activities. When no immersed in MUN she enjoys reading, graphic design, and travelling.

Praveen Bandla,

Praveen Bandla is a second (first) year Mathematics-Economics major from Hyderabad, India. Having told himself he would not participate in Model UN after 5 years of it through middle and high school, he found a reignited interest after having staffed for BruinMUN, LAMUN and competing with the travel team. With a passion for international relations and macroeconomics, he hopes to find himself a career in consulting or policy. An avid football (#viscaelbarca) and cricket fan, he also takes particular interest in EDM, Marvel, video games, and tech.
