Preparation for Our Sixteenth Annual Model United Nations Conference :
As preparation begins for the upcoming Sixteenth Annual Model United Nations Conference, we at UCLA are prepared to take each and every step necessary to make the conference our best to date. This includes our continuous commitment to review staff and logistic performances to ensure an enjoyable experience for your students. With that in mind, here are our goals for the conference:
- To provide and promote a cooperative environment where students feel comfortable in becoming part of the diplomatic process and are able to exchange their views in reaching solutions on their topics cooperatively;
- To facilitate an educational environment where students can gain familiarity with international issues through substantive discussion by encouraging careful research, preparation, and analysis;
- To provide and promote an equal and healthy environment where the students can compete fairly, regardless of their experience or background, with full attention from the Secretariat and mutual respect between delegates.
