Dear Esteemed Advisors and Delegates,
I am excited to invite you all to the 21st session of Bruin Model United Nations! Held on the beautiful and lively UCLA campus on Saturday, November 9th and Sunday, November 10th, high school students from across the world are invited to debate historical and contemporary politics. BruinMUN continues to offer diverse and dynamic topics that push delegates to their limits, similarly pushing our conference to new heights.
With last year’s successful novice committees in mind, we expanded the number of novice committees from three to five. Our training expertise will quickly familiarize delegates with the inner workings of committee and prepare them for future conferences! BruinMUN staff takes pride in our unique and effective combination of training and guided debate that can launch new competitors into the world of Model United Nations.
As always, BruinMUN staff will prioritize the quality of delegate experience. Our staff is prepared to guide delegates at every step of the way if necessary. BruinMUN places heavy emphasis on ensuring that critical response leads to meaningful changes in the way our conference runs, and passes on these successes in the form of efficient and responsive service for delegates. Expect to see even greater integration of social media into our conference!
I hope to see you on November 9th and 10th, two days that will become a lasting memory of UCLA and BruinMUN. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding BruinMUN 2013, please email our Director of External Relations, Sarah Kirk, at ExternalDirector@bruinmun.org.
