LAMUNC is a diplomacy-oriented conference that abides by the philosophy of 'conference first, competition second.' Delegates will be holistically evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Facilitating and engaging the committee in a diplomatic and collaborative process
- Substantive knowledge and analysis of international issues and policies
- Accuracy of country policy and the feasibility and creativity of solutions
- Professionalism, leadership, and general quality of delegate skills
Individual delegates may be recognized for the following honors: Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and Honorable Mention. The Secretary-General will recognize one Best Delegation and up to two Outstanding Delegations for quality team performance.
